Pastoral Care Coordinator’s Message

At the end of term 2 during the school holidays, our pastoral care team organized a study camp. During this study camp, students studied intensively but also did some exciting activities. Examples of activities engaged in were sightseeing in Phillip Island such as watching the penguins, beachside walks, visiting Nobbies Centre and riding electric bikes. All of these team building activities allowed students and teachers to bond and build a stronger relationship with each other which creates a positive impact in the student’s lives.

As the holidays finished and the new term started, the afterschool classes organized by the pastoral care resumed.

The pastoral care team also organized the annual Qurban campaign which was held in Kenya this year. Five students and Mr Turker Imer embarked on this journey to distribute meat to the needy and poor in Kenya. This campaign lasted a week in Kenya and allowed students to witness and experience a different culture and life. It enabled students to contribute to the community and serves as a reminder to always give charity to those who are less fortunate and to be grateful for all the blessings that are given to you.

I would like to thank all Pastoral Care teachers for all their hard work and time in allowing all these events to take place.
